They DID Something!

A huge shout out and "Thank you!" from Hope Church to all of the students who gave up their Saturday afternoon to DO SOMETHING by serving at the Women's Tea.  They all did an amazing job - and did it with a smile!  Thank you!

ZONE!

Fun times were had by all 7th & 8th graders (and leaders!) at ZONE on Friday night!  Frisbee, cookies, video games, scatterball and more!  If you're a 7th or 8th grader, we'll have one more of these before summer break (May 9th), so don't miss out!

DO SOMETHING!

We kicked off our new series at COMMUNITY this week and it's all about DOing something! God has given you a PASSION for something or someone and He wants us to USE that passion within us to further our relationship with Him and to draw others into a relationship with Him. Tim shared about what it means to have a passion to make an impact on our world and how sometimes we don't even find our passion until we put ourselves out there to do SOMETHING!  We also heard from Al Desilets, Elisabeth Porter, Jerome Ocker and Jean Laughlin about how they found their passion and what they are doing to keep following God's lead in that area.

Girls Night!

The freshman/sophomore girls gathered on Saturday night at Erin's house for dinner, dessert and games!  We made cupcakes and ate yummy cookies and brownies while playing Apples to Apples and Whoonu.  It was so much fun and we can't wait to do it again soon!

Youth@Hope Represent!

Hope Church got a great picture of how God is working through our student ministries last night at World Outreach Night as our (mostly) student band led the crowd in worship and Youth@Hope alumni Maria Gambone presented about her heart for shining the light of Jesus into the some of the darkest places in our world!

Philly Project Blitz!

We had an awesome weekend at the Philadelphia Project! The weekend involved a great combination of community building within our own group and some free home repair for seven different homes in Philadelphia.
